For decades, gas turbine operators have voluntarily measured combustion pressure and vibration levels in high temperature environments. They use specialized technology to detect dynamic pressure pulsations and surges in gas turbines. The measurement is then used to trend data and accurately identify potential faults before any serious damages occur. This condition monitoring is driven by turbine operator's biggest challenge – to monitor combustion instability to ensure trouble-free operation, worker safety, and to prevent catastrophic failures. IMI high-temperature accelerometers and pressure sensors are manufactured to meet the specific power generation and petrochemical design requirements, including intrinsic safety certification in accordance with ATEX and CSA. Our manufacturing operations are ISO 9001:2015 certified by DQS, Inc., AS9100:2016 certified by DQS, Inc. and calibration procedures accredited by A2LA to ISO 17025.
